Becky Hoskings

Lead Consultant

We are living in a time where the world is in constant, fast paced change and as Albert Einstein said, “You can't use an old map to explore a new world”. Sharing our Breakthrough Thinking practices to help people see and own what is possible in our new world is a source of daily inspiration to me.

Becky has a passion for innovation and converting the seemingly impossible into action. She brings a wealth of energy, experience and positivity to situations and gets huge satisfaction from helping organisations, teams and people achieve great things with fresh perspectives and a change in mindset and thinking. She is renowned for living and being “Breakthrough Thinking”, helping her clients create a culture of openness and freedom, where accelerated and sustained transformation occurs.

Over the last 25 years, Becky has worked as a consultant, business coach and people leader across pharmaceutical, banking, finance and law sectors in Europe, US and Asia. She guides her clients through transformation and change, bringing a healthy challenge to discussions, inspiring organisations, teams and individuals to discover new ways of thinking, building relationships, resolving problems and focussing on the things that truly create value.

Outside of her client work, Becky thrives on breakthrough challenges of the physical kind.. whether she’s walking as part of the Oxfam Trail Walker 100k Trek, hurling herself down and up mountains in the 80k Mountain Biking Race Passports du Soliel, ascending Mt Toubkal in Morocco with her family or hurling herself from the Auckland Sky Tower it’s all part of keeping herself active and thriving on possibility. She relaxes with her husband, grown up children, walking her two dogs and caring for the family’s two alpacas!

Becky’s notable clients include Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Roche, Takeda, Barclays Investment Bank, Barclays Wealth, Deutsche Bank, Prudential and AVIVA

My favourite breakthrough moment

In May 1953, when Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers confirmed to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Hillary also subsequently reached the South and North Pole making him the first person to reach both poles and summit Everest! Truly amazing, especially given the kind of clothing and equipment available at the time! The power of his accomplishments have inspired many others, including myself, to go on to achieve their very own personal and team breakthroughs!
