Hannah Russell

Hannah's professional career so far has been within the hospitality industry, and she brings all of her wonderful experience in customer service and client delight to Achieve Breakthrough.

Hannah has a BSc in Hospitality Management and over 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry coordinating events and ensuring that there was nothing too big or small that Hannah couldn't handle with ease. Hannah is also a black belt in Karate and is extremely proud of the discipline and dedication needed to achieve this.

Hannah believes transformational ideas can come from anywhere. While a role in a company may seem small and insignificant, you never know what ideas that role may create. An inspiration for Hannah is the story about a janitor at NASA, telling the press that even he was helping put a man on the moon!

Outside of work, If you don’t find Hannah doing some crafts in a corner, she’ll be spending her time with friends and family…or sleeping.

My favourite breakthrough moment

The invention of penicillin has not only helped with the direction of modern medicine but also shows that breakthroughs can come from anyone! Fleming was often considered a ‘careless lab technician’, but in this case, it paid off as he accidentally left some culture plates out, which caused further investigation which led him to what we now call penicillin!
